My activities are: private: diving, climbing, trekking, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Yoga professional: field research (dolphins, marine, and many other species), media work, writing books and articles, undercover investigation into illegal trade with species, police training and participation in raids, political lobbying, teaching Nature is the deepest mystery and any species is a miracle. We are surrounded by miracles and true our behavior we loose them before we even got aware of them. I want to show my children and other people all these miracles so they can walk thru their lives being profoundly amazed and enriched. I feel that we have a duty to protect nature for the generations to come. In order to do so we need to stand up and do what’s necessary - We need to swim against the current. Stop talking and become active - thru what ever means you have. Be a part of the solution - not of the problem. I am married and I have two children: Aysha and Alexander I am the Executive Director of the peruvian conservation group Mundo Azul Mundo Azul (Blue World) is Peruvian NGO for the conservation of biodiversity and sustainable development. We are researching on dolphins and many other species and everybody can help as a conservation volunteer (www.mundoazul.org). We are active against the illegal trade with species and the illegal killing of dolphins, sea lions and many other species. We support the creation and management of protected areas. We are activly engaged in sustainable ecotourism development with local communities in order to provide economic alternatives to the killing of wildlife and nature destruction. I work as a consultant for different Consultancy firms, NGOs and governmental entities in topics of Environmental Impact studies, wildlife research, conservation management and tourism development. I am the General Manager of the Peruvian marine tourism operatorNature Expeditions. Nature Expeditions is Perus first marine ecotourism operator pioneering whale-watching, marine bird watching, terrestrial birding, scuba diving and trekking in Perus central Andes. Thru our tourism we support wildlife science and nature conservation. I was so far in charge of the local production of seven TV-documentals about nature in Peru for several TV-channels in Europe. I am also working as sonar specialist for National Geographic Archeology Expeditions. In 2007 we discovered a new ruin site in the sea floor of Lake Titicaca.
